Tuyet Annie Nguyen, DNP, AGACNP

Tuyet “Annie” Nguyen began her career in healthcare as a nurse resident at Grady Hospital, where she worked for over three years. During this time, she discovered Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) and considered returning to school to become a nurse practitioner. While pursuing her studies, she worked as an RN and part-time charge nurse on the medical and surgical floor, gaining experience with patients suffering from many health diseases. In addition, she also managed patients recovering from various surgeries of orthopedic, general surgery, neurosurgery, and urology including prostate surgeries, and TURPs. This exposure introduced her to the urology team and allowed her to establish working relationships with many urologists of NGPG and Georgia Urology.

Annie earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degree from Mercer University in Atlanta. She completed her clinical rotation with Thoracic Surgery at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. As for her doctorate project, she collaborated with a volunteer non-profit organization to improve oral care in low-income families in Metro Atlanta. Annie is board-certified in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. After a brief stint in orthopedics, Annie reconnected with her urology roots and secured a position with NGPG Urology before joining Georgia Urology in 2025.

Her passion for urology stems from her commitment to patient-centered care, disease prevention, and treatment. She particularly values building relationships with her patients and finds a great deal of personal fulfillment in the field from helping them thrive after treatment.
