Rachael Peterson brings a diverse medical background and a patient-centered approach to her role at Georgia Urology. Growing up in a military family, she lived across the United States, gaining many life experiences that shaped her compassion and dedication to patient care.
Rachael earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Genetics from the University of Georgia before completing her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Mercer University. She began her medical career as an EMT in Augusta, GA, and transitioned to working as a Physician Assistant in gastroenterology before joining Georgia Urology.

This expertise enhances her ability to provide comprehensive patient care.
Outside work, Rachael enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews, exploring Georgia’s beautiful outdoors, and camping. A hot sauce enthusiast, Rachael is always looking for the next fiery flavor.
Rachael will be seeing patients at our Riverdale office on Wednesdays.
