If you have any difficulty emptying your bladder or are unable to urinate after your procedure, please call the office.
Increase your daily fluid intake for the next 2 to 3 days. Water is the best choice.
You may feel a little irritation when you empty your bladder over the next 24 hours. You may also feel some urgency and have some frequency. This is normal. If the pain is strong or lasts more than 24 hours, call the office.
You may pass a few drops of blood the first couple of times you empty your bladder. This is normal. If you pass clots, or the bleeding persists, please call the office.
If you develop a fever greater than 101.5, or chills, please call the office.
You may continue to take all of your regular medications and any new prescription medications your doctor may have ordered.
