Holly Shalhoop graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Akron in 2004. She went on to receive her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2010 and practiced in various areas of internal medicine since her graduation.
Holly’s interest in health and wellness led to her career in medicine where she has practiced as both a Physician Assistant and a Registered Dietician. Her favorite thing about being a medical provider is helping others and making a positive impact on their quality of life.
She joined Georgia Urology in the spring of 2020, and currently works with Dr. Haber and Dr. Mellis in Georgia Urology’s Cumming and Johns Creek offices.
Holly is a fellow with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and is also a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA).
Her special interests include nutrition and preventative health.
Holly grew up in northeast Ohio, and enjoys long-distance running, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
